It’s getting cold.  Nights are on the verge of freezing.  We have moved three hours south, where it might be a few degrees warmer, to the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut. They have a very large RV parking lot where we can park for free for a few days.  A free shuttle circulates every 20 minutes 24/7 through all the parking lots.  This is where we rode out Hurricane Sandy last year.  You can read that story HERE

Mohegan Sun Casino

This is one of the largest casinos in the country and my favorite.  It’s huge.  Really three large casinos linked by a shopping center with 75 shops, a 10,000 seat arena, numerous restaurants and lounges.  Love the giant color changing glass sculpture by Dale Chihuly.

We’re hoping the weather will warm up and we can spend more time with the kids.  Most of the RV parks here are closed for the season.  There are a very few that are still open, expensive, but we will look into it.
