Driving East

We left Forest City, Iowa, early this morning and drove 315 miles east, stopping at Princeton, Illinois, for the night.

It was a beautiful day for a drive so we just kept on going. The drive was uneventful. We did stop for a while at the World’s Largest Truckstop on I-80, filled up with gas and walked around a bit to stretch our legs.

Shortly after that we crossed the border into Illinois.

Welcome to Illinois

We’re out of milk so stopped at Walmart in Princeton to get some groceries. Might as well just spend the night here too.
