Located on the beach at the border of Florida and Alabama is the Flora-Bama Lounge, Package, & Oyster Bar, a unique place in itself, but on Sunday worshipers gather in a big tent by the beach for a casual Sunday service that lasts one hour and includes some good live music.

I had to look up what a “package” store is. It is a liquor store that sells prepackaged alcoholic beverages – typically in bottles – intended to be consumed off the premises. In Minnesota it is referred to as “off sale liquors”. Consider me educated.

Central Christian Church is all about planting churches in unlikely places and this is one of them. Many of the people here today were from several other states and their first time here, such as us. We enjoyed it.
