Springfield, MA

Cindy and I went shopping today while the boys stayed at home.  It was great to have some girl time again.

Later in the afternoon, Bernie and I said goodbye and left Schenectady, New York.  We decided to stay in Springfield, Massachusetts.  The plan is to leave the motor home here and drive the Jeep up to our son’s place in New Hampshire and deliver to him all his “stuff” we packed up from the house.  We’ll do that tomorrow.

We decided to do it this way since we really are headed south to Connecticut on Wednesday and it’s just cheaper and easier to drive the Jeep north to New Hampshire.

There are a lot of toll roads in the northeast.  I’m so glad we purchased a transponder, it saves a lot of time and bother.  In the two hours we drove today we went through six different toll gates.

Our gas purchase for today was only $50.
