A Day of Driving

We were up early this morning and drove through Dallas as the sun came up.  There was very little traffic and we had no problems at all. Texas is a very big state, and not a lot to look at.  It is interesting to note the change of scenery the last few days from the swamps of Louisiana, to the pasture land, oil wells, and the cactus marking the transition to the desert.

Driving and Driving

Driving and Driving

After driving 335 miles we’re tired and have stopped at Walmart in Midland, TX, for the night.

Home Sweet Home

Our gas expense for today was $150.  And we’re seeing prices of $2.99 to $3.24 per gallon.
