Tonopah, AZ

Here we are at Saddle Mountain RV Park in Tonopah, Arizona.  It’s only about an hour’s drive west from where we were, but with our Passport America discount it is half the price we were paying at Goodyear.  It’s still too cold to go to Quartzsite.  At least here we have the electricity to run our electric heaters.

Saddle Mountain RV Park, #66

When we arrived here the water service to the campground had been shut off while they make repairs on the pipes that had frozen overnight last night.   Water service was restored around 3 pm.  But it will for sure freeze again tonight, forecast low to be 26 degrees.

The Verizon 3G Internet service is very slow here.

Our RV expenses for today:   $24.76 for propane fill.  $99 gasoline ($3.059/gallon), and $30 for two nights, for a total of $153.76
