South Carlsbad State Beach

Our discounted price ran out at Mission Bay RV Park so we moved on up the coast about 25 miles to South Carlsbad State Beach where we had stayed last year.  We drove in the rain most of the way but once we got settled the sun peeked out for a few hours.

The campground sits atop a high bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  Clouds were thickening and it was getting cold and quite windy.  We went for a very brief walk on the beach before returning to the RV to ride out the storm.
