The last two days have been spent hanging out in Forest City, Iowa, at the Winnebago Industries Customer Service lobby with several other people in the same situation.  It’s been fun comparing notes and getting to know new friends.

While we were waiting we took the plant tour and got to see how the motor homes are built.  That was fascinating.  Unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures, so none to share here with you.

But it was ok to take pictures in the museum where they house some vintage motor  homes and loads of other memorabilia.

All set up with a new windshield and maintenance done we continued on up north to Minnesota, which was only about 20 miles away.

Most of the snow is gone here except for where it had been piled up by snowplows, and the lakes are still iced over.

We’re in Albert Lea tonight, had a good dinner and a great visit with the relatives.  Going further north tomorrow.
