As much as we loved Manatee State Park and watching the Manatee there I have a hard time living without decent TV signal, internet, and cell phone service. We couldn’t extend our stay any longer anyway because they did not have any available sites for our size rig and we had to leave.
So now we are about 68 miles east of where we were and treating ourselves to some civilization. We’re in Wilderness RV Resort by Silver Springs FL and will be here for five nights, leaving on Monday, the 11th. We’re enjoying full hookups, cable TV, good cell service and free wi-fi. And to top it off, there is a candy store here! Sweet!
Don’t know what we will see or do while we are here. Maybe nothing to blog about for a few days so if you don’t hear from me don’t be concerned. I’m probably just watching TV and eating candy.

Check out the campground if you go. One of our favorite Florida state parks to camp. We enjoyed the tour of the Cracker Village and renting a canoe and paddling down the river. If you do that or go on the Glass Bottom Boat tour you keep an eye out for monkeys in the trees!
