Joliet, IL

We met some people who were on their way home on an RV trip to Alaska.  They said it was a great trip, no problems at all.

Nothing much to report today.  We just drove as far as Joliet, IL, which is close to Chicago.  It rained all the way, at times thunder and lightning.  I think we’ve seen more water today than we have all summer.

Gas prices have been anywhere from $3.859 to $4.09 cash or $4.15 credit card.  Our gas cost for the day was a total of $300.02, averaging 7 miles per gallon.

    Im so glad you are doing this…but those gas prices make me want to cry haha
