The Big Texan is a tourist stop not to be missed as you pass through Amarillo, Texas.   They have truck and RV parking in the back, so parking here was no problem for us.   It looks a bit corny on the outside but the inside is full of personality.  Our cowboy waiter was very good as was our food.

Tonight we are in Double D RV Park, a small RV park in Texola, Oklahoma, a small town on the Texas/Oklahoma border.  There are cows in the pasture by us.  It is actually a rare treat to see free roaming cows in a grassy field and not in one of the many factory farms we have been seeing around the country.
