Yosemite National Park

We were only able to visit a small part of Yosemite National Park today.  It’s late in the season and some of the roads are closed for the winter. Mostly it’s because they have already had snow in the upper elevations so we did not get to drive up into the mountains for the spectacular panoramic views. But that’s ok. We drove Yosemite Valley and it was awesome.

This time of year it is normal for the waterfalls to be dry. Bridal Veil Falls had a small amount of water falling and it looked like Yosemite falls was dry. Upper Yosemite Falls in the upper right of the picture and Lower Falls in the lower center.

Just a few of the pictures from the valley:

And my favorite picture of the day:

  1. I love the posts and pictures you put on here. Hopefully in 10 years when we reach retirement age we can do what you are doing! Until then keep up the good work, keep those post and pictures coming!

Marvelous pictures again – what a beautiful blue sky, quite a change from all the rain.
