We haven’t moved from our campground, and we’ll be here in Concord, New Hampshire, for at least two more weeks. Today we made a little car trip over to Main to visit our friend, Peter, who lives in Old Orchard Beach. Yup! That’s our new car in the picture!

Old Orchard Beach, Maine
There are seafood restaurants all over the place in Maine, and lobster is king. I’m in seafood heaven! Peter took us to a lobster shack for lunch where we had some pretty good lobster rolls.

Scenic Lunch
After lunch we drove up the shore towards Portland, stopping at a few points to enjoy the scenery. Fog was lingering along the shoreline.
Eventually the fog lifted and the rest of the day was wonderful.

Portland Head Light

Bug Light at Portland
While we were at the Bug Light there were several people flying kites in the park by the light. Somebody had the largest kite we have ever seen. A gigantic squid. What a treat!

Then we drove through Portland to another park. Here’s me in the back seat.
There seems to be no end to the beauty of Maine. But the fog is rolling back in again, taking away the panoramic views.
We returned to Old Orchard Beach for a quick view of the ocean before we had to head home.
The tide was way out. It was cold and breezy out by the water but there were still several people walking there. There were even a few surfers.
Yum! Lobster Rolls! Great photos of such a beautiful place.

Thanks! Maine is awesome, we plan to take the RV up there again, maybe this fall or spring of 2016. It doesn’t work out for us right now. Can’t wait!
